Join our dynamic team as an Office Volunteer at Wildlife Center of Long Island, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing our vital wildlife hotline. In this position, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our seasoned hotline operators to streamline the intake of new animals, coordinate pickups, and handle a variety of essential office tasks. Your responsibilities will also include opening packages, expressing gratitude to our generous donors, assembling informative brochures and information packets, making copies, efficiently managing voicemails, and taking detailed messages.
We’re looking for applicants who are not only comfortable with using a computer, particularly Google Workspace (Word Documents & Spreadsheets), but also thrive in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, a clear and pleasant demeanor, and a passion for wildlife conservation are key to succeeding in this role.
