Daisy

White Footed Mouse

Born in a nest in a backyard barbeque grill, Daisy was badly burned when she was just a small infant in the nest. The burns resulted in the loss of Daisy’s external ears, outer toe tips and the tip of her tail. Due to the loss of her external ears, Daisy’s ability to hear well has been impacted and it is not safe to release her to the wild. Daisy helps to teach the importance of respect and appreciation for all wildlife, including small rodents at the bottom of the food web!
